V programskem jeziku Step 7 je za oba krmilnika napisana programska koda digitalnega PID regulatorja. Za preizkus delovanja izdelanih regulatorjev smo uporabili univerzalni simulator dinamičnih sistemov. Univerzalni simulator omogoča simulacijo prenosnih funkcij izbrane stopnje in izbranih parametrov.
